If you said yes to these questions, this may be the job for you! Phocuswright's sales and client services associate is responsible for supporting the Phocuswright sales and client services teams. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor and learn from the best. This position reports to the vice president, client services.


U.S. (Remote), Denver Colorado and Vicinity Preferred


Sales and Sales Support

  • Prospect for new business for Phocuswright research, events and media opportunities
  • Respond to and vet all inbound sales inquiries
  • Monitor and respond to website chat as source for new business
  • Keep Salesforce accounts, contacts, opportunities and contracts up to date
  • Audit all new sales opportunities in Salesforce – ensure accuracy of all information and that the appropriate deliverable teams are up to speed on contract components
  • Run reports to assist renewal process, winback campaigns, and prospecting for multi-client report sponsors, event sponsors and media opportunities
  • Additional duties assigned as needed

Client Services – Syndicated Research

  • Support the vice president, client services in managing all aspects of syndicated research sales
  • Onboard new/renewal subscribers – including conducting training calls
  • Field all inbound inquiries from subscribers about their access
    • Assist with finding appropriate research to best serve client needs
    • Troubleshoot subscriber access issues with IT
    • Escalate any positive or negative feedback from clients
    • Schedule Access to Analyst sessions with analysts for subscribers
  • Manage a la carte sales fulfillment, including client access, questions about research, troubleshooting, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities
  • Broadly assist sales team to ensure syndicated sales process operates efficiently; includes maintaining tools and support systems and keeping them updated and streamlined
  • Additional duties assigned as needed

  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Travel industry knowledge preferred
  • Strong computer skills required:
    • Required: Microsoft Office, Salesforce
    • Preferred: Smartsheet

Related Work Experience

  • 1-2 years' experience in account management, client services and inside sales
  • Travel industry experience is a plus

Formal Education or Equivalent

  • College degree is preferred or equivalent experience
