STEP 4—VOTING, AWARDS AND WINNER

Only the most innovative and exciting technology-based solutions will make the cut.

Selected innovators are organized into three categories for voting purposes:

Start-ups: companies less than 18 months old
Emerging: companies in early growth phase, 18-36 months old
Established: companies3 years or older launching new, innovative solutions

With hand-held, interactive voting devices, the audience critically assesses each demonstrator on:

Level of technical innovation
Business value of the innovation
Potential effect on the marketplace

Finalists and honorable mentions with the highest audience scores—from each from the three categories—then advance to the next round during Center Stage@The PhoCusWright Conference. The four finalists each have Five Minutes of Fame to describe their innovation and convince a blue ribbon panel of judges that they will be a notable success. The “PhoCusWright Travel Innovation Summit Winner” is announced at the conclusion of the conference. The honorable mention companies will also have their Five Minutes of Fame at Center Stage@The PhoCusWright Conference but will not be eligible for consideration in the "PhoCusWright Travel Innovation Summit Winner" judging.
