Jasper Malcolmson joined Yahoo! in 2004 and is responsible for the overall management and financial performance of Yahoo! Travel and FareChase products, including the integration of Yahoo! Travel products into other elements of the Yahoo! Network. Jasper’s background is in managing, operating and financing Internet- and telecommunications-related businesses. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Jasper worked for Sciens Capital, a New York- based private equity and venture capital firm specializing in the telecommunications and Internet sectors. His experiences in these categories include working as the director of product development for Spar Aerospace, where he led the research and development group focusing on satellite communications equipment. Jasper also played a critical role with the team that launched the first commercial cable model service in North America, with Rogers CableSystems. Jasper began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients on corporate strategy and optimizing business processes. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Princeton University.
