Jim Kovarik is director and general manager of AOL’s travel offerings: AOL Travel (http://.travel.aol.com ) and Pinpoint Travel (www.pinpointtravel.com). He is responsible for the travel product strategy, development and operation across the AOL Network. Jim has nearly 20 years of experience in the online industry beginning as a sales executive with Mead Data Central, providers of the Lexis-Nexis services. Jim has held numerous positions during his seven year career with AOL, beginning with business development at AOL’s CompuServe unit in 1999, including a three year stint as director of business strategy for AOL Travel where he led business development, strategic planning and several product initiatives. Jim graduated from Fordham University in 1992 with a MBA in management and international business. Jim completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH.
