Michael Winter recently joined Agency.com as media director of the NY office after over 3 years at Beyond Interactive where he was vice president, media director overseeing such clients as 3M, Bic, Bayer, NetBank, Allergan, Playtex and Subway. Michael began his career in Grey’s traditional Media Buying Department and helped to start their Interactive Media Buying & Planning division in 1995. As a 12 year veteran in the interactive space he has worked at many of the leading agencies in the space. After leaving Grey he went on to SiteSpecific – USWeb/CKS to work on many early dotcom brands such as TheStreet.com, SURETRADE.com as well as traditional brands Audi and Apple. Michael went on to Digitas as an associate media director managing all facets of American Express for almost 2 years in addition to the Starwood family of hotels. Michael actually left the agency life to become the director of marketing at tech start-up before realizing that his heart and passion was for working with brands not at them.
Michael brings to Agency.com a strong background in both direct response and brand advertising as-well-as proven team building and leadership skills.
