Bradley KingBrad King is responsible for development and implementation of the company’s travel category initiatives in the areas of sponsored search, data feed products and meta search (Yahoo! FareChase). These initiatives are aimed at helping top-tier travel companies maximize the effectiveness of their search marketing campaigns across the Yahoo! Network. Prior to joining Yahoo! Search Marketing in June 2004, Brad managed airline supplier relations and operations for Hotwire.com. Within this role he fostered and maintained interaction with 33 domestic and international carriers and assisted Hotwire.com in becoming the largest seller of opaque airline tickets on the web. Prior to joining Hotwire.com, Brad served as the director of global hotel distribution for WorldRes, a B2B services company that distributed hotel information and online booking capability to leisure travelers via a global distribution network. Brad began his career as a pricing/yield management analyst at Northwest Airlines and later joined the Vail Resorts Management Company where he managed the resorts minimum revenue guarantee partnerships with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and Northwest Airlines. In this position Brad was also responsible for the development of online resort sales and marketing programs with strategic partners including Yahoo!, Travelocity, Delta Vacations and American Airlines Vacations. Brad earned a degree in marketing and management from the school of business at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
