Mobacar Wins the European Travel Innovator of the Year Award

Travel industry research authority Phocuswright Inc. has announced the award winners of The Travel Innovation Summit Europe, held on 20 May, the first day of Phocuswright Europe currently underway in Dublin, Ireland. This year, the first European summit, 10 innovators were selected to demonstrate applications, technologies and solutions that will transform travel planning, purchasing and sharing. The winners represent the best of this elite group.

"The inaugural Travel Innovation Summit Europe was a great success," said Phocuswright managing director, Tony D'Astolfo. "New business models and leading-edge tech are constantly pushing the travel industry to new heights. The presenting companies solely from Europe had truly the most innovative concepts and advanced technologies we've seen. They will be responsible for transforming travel in the months and years to come."

A panel of judges comprised of travel and technology experts chose the winner and runner-up.
