The PhoCusWright Online Travel Agency Index (POTAI) underperformed the market in July, but remains well ahead on a year-to-date basis. POTAI fell for the month, which compared to a flat performance for the Nasdaq and a gain for the S&P 500 . The most notable highlight was a sharp divergence in the performances of TripAdvisor and its former parent, Expedia.
