PhoCusWright would be surprised if many people thought about travel during President Obama's State of the Union address on January 24, except perhaps (depending on one's politics) to think one should flee to Canada until after the election, or that Congress and its 9% approval rating could use a nice, long vacation. But it occurs to us that the travel industry may actually have a bigger stake than is first apparent in one proposal the President mentioned.
