The Asia Pacific (APAC) travel market has arrived. It is now the second-largest regional travel market globally, surpassing the U.S. in 20101. Online penetration is surging throughout the region, with the online leisure and unmanaged business travel market exceeding US$53 billion in 2010, representing 21% of APAC’s total travel market.
